Historical Note
MacDonald was an author of Western novels. He also wrote detective and spy genre fiction.
Content Description
Manuscripts and related correspondence, scrapbooks, synopses and contracts of many of MacDonald's Western novels, including synopsis and motion picture contracts of his "The Three Mesquiteers" series of Western stories which were made into a series of motion pictures. There are also pen and ink drawings and watercolor and oil paintings by MacDonald.
