James Rosen was an American journalist and television correspondent. He received his BA in political science from Johns Hopkins University and his MA in journalism from Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. After graduating, Rosen was hired as a producer for the New York Television channel NY1. He began his on-air career at News 12 - The Bronx as a street reporter, anchorman, camera operator, editor, and producer for the network. He also worked at CBS News as a researcher for lead anchor Dan Rather, WREX-TV in Rockford, Illinois, and Fox News as Chief Washington Correspondent.

Collection contains materials related to interviews that Rosen conducted with Vice President Dick Cheney in December 2014 for his book, “Cheney One on One: A Candid Conversation with America’s Most Controversial Statesman.” These materials include audio recordings of the interviews, annotated transcripts, manuscripts, photographs, and research materials such as published books and articles used in preparation for the interviews.
