Historical Note
The Federation of Fly Fishers was organized in 1965 as a national fly fishing organization with the goal of supporting fisheries conservation and educational programs throughout the United States. In the early 1980s, it adopted its current name, Fly Fishers International. Many notable anglers have been members of the organization. An annual education and fundraising event, the Conclave, has been held since 1965.
Content Description
This collection contains 21 reel-to-reel and 38 cassette-tape recordings of talks from annual Federation of Fly Fishers Conclaves, 1965-1967, 1980-1981, and 1983-1984. An inventory of the recordings is available on request.
