Historical Note
UM Productions was a student-run organization operated through the University of Montana in Missoula between 1969 and 2018. It booked, produced, and promoted shows at the University of Montana's main event venues: the Adams Center, the University Center Ballroom, and the Dennison Theatre, with a few high profile events being staged at the University's Washington-Grizzly Stadium. Its mission was "to bring quality entertainment to the University of Montana and the Missoula community focusing on diversity with a dedication to the arts." UM Productions was closed in the fall of 2018, as part of larger budget restructuring at the University of Montana.
Content Description
This collection contains scrapbooks created by the UM Productions staff. The scrapbooks mainly contain advertisements for various shows produced by UM Productions, as well as newspaper clippings about those events. Some scrapbooks also contain photographs of UM Productions staff and events. There is also a photo album documenting the lead up to Pearl Jam’s 1998 concert at the Washington-Grizzly Stadium, particularly the construction of the stage.

All content is contained within bound scrapbooks and a photo album. No content was reorganized during processing. Scrapbooks were boxed chronologically.
