Content Description
A scrapbook of Get Well cards for a boy named Bobby, who had eye surgery in July 1943 at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The surgery involved ether as a general anesthetic. The scrapbook includes an account of Bobby’s hospital stay written in crayon. There are a number of later cards in the scrapbook to other family members.
