Historical Note

Barbara Nielsen De Luna (1926-2004) was a journalist, Marine, teacher, scholar, artist, cat lover, and avid gardener. She was an emeritus professor of the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada and an eminent Shakespearean scholar. She authored two books published by the Clerendon Press, Oxford, and a proposed 3 volume, 3,500 page biographical study of Shakespeare. De Luna passed away on April 24, 2004. at the age of 78.
