Biographical Note
Pleasant A. Miller was an Arkansas City, Kansas photographer in the late 1800s. Miller, Tomas Croft and William S. Prettyman took well-known photographs of the Cherokee Strip Land Rush.
Content Description
This collection contains photographs from Miller's photography studio in Arkansas City, Kansas, from the late 1800s. The photographs are of single and group portraits of Native Americans from various tribes who were probably living in Kansas and Oklahoma at that time.
