Historical Note
Five Seasons Press was a publisher founded and operated by Glenn Storhaug in Hereford, England, starting in 1977. Authors published by Five Seasons Press included Allen Ginsberg, Alan Halsey, Anne Stevenson, Michael Hamburger, Paul Merchant, Gary Snyder, Michael Horovits, Wendell Berry, Gary Snyder, Paul Matthews, David Hart, and Glenn Storhaug. Many of the books issued by Five Seasons Press were fine letterpress editions featuring special illustrations. Storhaug maintained a close relationship with Paul Merchant, who assembled this collection.
