Historical Note
Gerold Frank, (b. 1907) was an author and journalist. He created a new genre of theatrical biography of uniquely gifted women.
Content Description
The collection primarily contains research by Gerold Frank for his biography, “Judy”. The files contain family records, letters and contracts, newspaper and magazine clippings (publicity, both personal and professional, and book reviews). Some editorial correspondence and manuscript material regarding his other writings is also included.
