Historical Note
G. J. Guthrie Nicholson Jr. and the Nicholson family lived on a ranch in Wyoming in the early 1900s.
Content Description
The G. J. Guthrie Nicholson collection consists of 64 selected 5 x 7 copies of ranch and family scrapbook photographs, 1909-1912. The Embar Ranch figures in several photographs as well as the oldest cabin in Wyoming also indicated as in Embar. Grass Creek Oil field derricks are pictured, a Grass Creek cabin, and the Wapiti Post Office.
