Kenneth L. Martin Collection, 1975-2006

Kenneth “Ken” Lee Martin was a producer for K2 news in Casper, Wyoming. He was born in Rawlins, Wyoming in 1943 and grew up in Casper, Wyoming where he attended school at Natrona County High School and Casper College until 1963. Then he received a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication from Denver University in 1966. Martin began his broadcast career as a Casper College student, working at KVOC Radio in the early 1960s. After graduating from Denver University, he worked for KTWO Radio and Television as a program producer in charge of special events for 20 years. From 1987-1997, he was as producer for the University of Wyoming Cowboy Sports broadcasts on KTWO Radio’s Wyoming Radio Network and from 1997 to his death, he was employed by KTWO Radio as an engineer, video specialist, website developer, computer systems expert, and all-around troubleshooter. He died of cancer at age 63, on April 17, 2007 in Casper, Wyoming.
