Biographical Note
Dana C. Jack (born 1945) is a psychologist and Professor Emeritus of Interdisciplinary Studies, Fairhaven College, Western Washington University. Her main area of research is women’s depression and anger in the United States and internationally. Her books include Silencing the Self: Women and Depression (1991), Behind the Mask: Destruction & Creativity in Women's Aggression (1999), and Silencing the Self Across Cultures: Depression and Gender in the Social World (2010). Much of her research was conducted in Nepal. Research data from Nepal is available in this collection.
