Historical Note
From 2003 through 2006 the National Park Service and the National Council of the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial in cooperation with American Indian Nations along the trail, coordinated a series of events to commemorate the Lewis and Clark Expedition. This collection documents some of the events during these years.
