Historical Note

Samuel D. Cohen (1896-1965) was a resident of Brooklyn, New York and worked in radio communications. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Cohen immigrated to the United States in 1903. He pursued a career as an electrical engineer. Samuel married Grace B. Barron in 1923. He was the author of a book titled The Radio Frequency Arc Converter. In 1925, Cohen submitted a patent for a new radio condenser for use with high frequency alternating currents.
