Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Tsutomu (Stormy) Mitsui was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on 14 February 1922. He married Chiyoko Yokoyama on 9 April 1944. He served in the United States Army in World War II. After the war he returned to Salt Lake City and operated the City Cafe. Chiyoko and Tsutomu raised two daughters, Janis and Pamela, and one son, Gary. He died in Salt Lake City on 14 November 2010.
