Biographical Note

The Holcombe family moved to Washington State in 1909, where Rev. Holcombe served as pastor of Ferndale Church from September 1909 to 1913. Family members include Mama [Mrs. S. A. Holcombe], Mabel Lucy, Corabel A., Chester A., Fannie V., Cyril R., Grace, Helen Lucile, Elsie, Willard, and Ruth Julia.

Content Description

The Holcombe family correspondence dates from 1884 to 1913. The bulk of the letters are between Reverend Gilbert T. Holcombe and other family members living in various locations throughout the Midwest.
