Historical Note
Alexander R. Ogston was the head of technical services development of Esso Export Corporation. He was also a chemist for Cities Services Oil Company. Ogston served in an advisory group coordinating aviation petroleum products during WWII.

Collection contains articles concerning gasolines and turbo fuel, petroleum properties and uses in the Royal Air Force, SAE air transport, and related topics; and booklets and pamphlets by the Esso Export Corporation concerning jet fuel, aviation fuel, turbine-engine fleets, safety aspects, jet pollution, and other related subjects.
