Historical Note

The office of Vice Provost for Extended University Services was operational from about 1988 until about 1992. Its function was oversight of a wide variety of off-campus instructional programs, including the founding and initial operation of branch campuses. When the branch campuses came under on-site mangement, the office of the Vice-Provost was dissolved.
