Historical Note
The Boise-Payette Backcountry Coalition was an organization formed in the late 1980s to provide input on forest and conservation issues in Idaho, specifically in the Boise National Forest and the Payette National Forest. Headed by Erik Fisher and Ralph Hansen, the group provided input about off-road vehicles, non-motorized vehicles, and water quality issues, among others.

This small collection contains correspondence and meeting minutes for the Boise-Payette Backcountry Coalition, membership lists for the organization, as well as position papers and maps for the Boise National Forest (BNF) and Payette National Forest (PNF).
