Biographical Note
Ron Anglin came to Othello, Grant County, WA in 1978 to work as a biologist with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. Soon after he arrived, he became interested in the history of military supply roads in what is now the Columbia Wildlife Refuge. Over a period of seven years, he collected information, photographs, documents, and oral interviews with older residents of the area. These he combined and interpreted to create a manuscript entitled “The Forgotten Trails,” completed in 1985.
