Historical Note
Emanuel “Manny” Reiner (1915-1974) was executive vice president for international sales at Paramount Television. Reiner began as a public relations man for the Quiz Kids radio program. During World War II, he worked for the Office of War Information film division in Italy and the Balkans. A specialist in foreign marketing of films, Reiner was successively managing director of the Selznick Organization in Latin America and Australia, foreign manager of Samuel Goldwyn Productions, and president of Four Star Television and Filmways International before joining Paramount in 1972.

The collection contains a large amount of correspondence (1950-1974); a notebook of essays by Reiner; legal documents; passports; photographs; commercial phonograph record albums; memorabilia; printed material; and art work (paintings, sketches, and prints).
