Biographical Note
Born in Michigan, Neta Lohnes Frazier has spent most of her life in the Spokane area. She graduated from Whitman College and taught English in Waitsburg, WA. During the 1930s she worked for the Spokane Valley Herald and began her fiction writing career. She has more than a dozen books and many articles to her credit. Frazier’s books, written for children, have a Michigan or Pacific Northwest history theme.
Content Description
The collection consists of manuscripts, correspondence and other papers of Neva Lohnes Frazier, a Spokane writer who published many articles and at least fourteen books. Under the heading "Manuscripts," papers pertaining to her published works are filed alphabetically. The collection is in 108 file folders in two boxes..
