Historical Note

Friends of Madrona Woods is a group of Madrona residents who, in 1996, began restoring Madrona Park with the help of volunteers and grants. The project rebuilt the trail system, removed invasive ivy, holly, laurel and blackberries, planted native plants, and daylighted two streams. The bulk of the project was completed in 2009 and 2013.
