David F. DeLap Papers, 1923-1987

The David F. DeLap Papers mainly concern his 1923 ascent of the Grand Teton with fellow mountaineers Quin Blackburn and Andy DePirro. Material related to this climb includes correspondence, photographs, published accounts, personal recollections, and audiotapes containing his oral history account. The collection also contains correspondence and photographs from William Owen who climbed the Grand Teton in 1898.
