Historical Note
George L. Holt was one of the first pioneers to settle in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1867. He ran a drug store on the town’s Main Street that he kept operating until 1920 after he and his wife relocated to Buffalo, Wyoming.
Content Description
Collection contains George L. Holt’s burial plot certificate; the certificate of incorporation for Holt’s Drug Store; stock certificates for a land and cattle company, toll road, and opera house/library; a Union Pacific Railway Co. land deed; a letter; and a document concerning proof of publication.
