Historical Note

Dr. David Koch was a professor and Agronomist with the College of Agriculture’s Plant Sciences Department at both the University of New Hampshire and the University of Wyoming. He retired from the University of Wyoming as a Professor Emeritus and a profound researcher. He was awarded many research grants, presented at numerous conferences both in the United States and internationally, and was named a fellow of Agronomy by the American Society of Agronomy. He published more than 300 research papers throughout his career and worked as a cultural extension agent, traveling the state of Wyoming to work with the state’s farmers. Dr. Koch was born in November of 1942 and passed away in January of 2020.

Content Description

This collection contains Dr. Koch’s office files which include HR files collected for prospective employees of the Plant Sciences Department. It also contains his research materials such as journals, books, photographs, photo slides and photos, and notes as well as his teaching materials which include many of his students’ thesis and doctoral works.
