Historical Note

The Disability Resource Center (DRC) is one of four departments under the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Utah State University (other departments include the Inclusion Center, the Latinx Cultural Center, and the Center for Diversity and Inclusion – Eastern USU). It grew out of the Hearing Impaired Student Association of the 1970s, which became the Disabled Student Center in 1980 to include all students with disabilities.
