Collection comprised of materials pertaining to Kingston's activities as an administrator and teacher, including a collection of his writings (prepared by Cecil Dryden), biographical materials about Kingston, materials collected by Jay W. Rea while editing a collection of his writings, and drafts and proofs of The Inland Empire in the Pacific Northwest. Also included are materials gathered by Kingston in teaching Pacific Northwest history.

Consists of materials gathered by Cecil P. Dryden, who generated a manuscript which was submitted to the University of Washington for publication, but which was not accepted by the U of W. The first item is a list of manuscripts in the Kingston Northwest Collection created by Mr. Kinston.
