Teaching portfolio including some group contract studies, evaluations of Weidemann by other faculty, as well as Wiedemann's work in sand dune ecology of the Pacific Northwest. There are also several examples of Wiedemann's field journals including his species accounts of birds in alphabetical order by common name and species accounts of plants in alphabetical order by scientific name. There are some slides of courses and a few photographs of different contract studies courses Wiedemann taught. Includes material from the following programs:

Alfred "Al" Wiedemann began teaching at The Evergreen State College in 1970. He received his BS in Crop Science and his MS in Agronomy from the Utah State University in 1961. He received a degree in Plant Physiology from the North Dakota State University in 1963 and his PhD in Botany from Oregan State University in 1966. Wiedemann taught classes relating to biology and had a keen interest in coastal dunes. Wiedemann retired from Evergreen in 2005. Wiedemann died in 2010.
