Historical Note
Paul O. McGrew (1909-1983) was a vertebrate paleontologist. He joined the University of Wyoming faculty in 1946 and taught stratigraphy as well as vertebrate paleontology. During field trips in Wyoming McGrew collected fossils which became part of the university’s geological museum. McGrew retired in 1975.

The Paul O. McGrew collection contains field notebooks and pages from field notebooks with various notes, field notes, diagrams, descriptions, maps, figures, and photographs.
