The Grand Canyon and San Juan Rover photograph collection is in two parts: The first two folders relate to the Grand Canyon only. The second part, folder 3 and 4 (the addendum) consists entirely of photos from a 1921 USGS survey of the canyon of the San Juan River in Utah. Many of these photos were used in the official government report of the survey published in USGS Water-supply Paper 538.
