Historical Note
The Library Advisory Council was implemented in 1978 to advise the director of the libraries about policy decisions and other administrative duties. The Committee consisted of voting members and non voting members to assist in making decisions about the libraries and met monthly. In 1980, at the recommendation of the Management Review and Analysis Program, the Library Advisory Committee was disbanded.
Content Description
Primarily contains adminstrative reports relating to the dissolution of departmental libraries and the creation of branch libraries from 1972-1975. Also includes project proposals and reports on Holland Library remodel from 1973-1976. Materials were collected by Robert Luedeking, a committe member and a faculty member in Chemistry.
