Bell (1929- ) was a television writer and producer. He began work with television soap operas in 1957 when he began writing for "The Guiding Light." He wrote for "As the World Turns" from 1958 to 1967, and in 1966 became head writer for "Days of Our Lives." He began writing for "The Young and the Restless" in 1977.

Collection contains predominantly scripts for "The Young and the Restless" (1973-1987), with a few scripts for "Days of Our Lives" (1976-1977). There are also photographs of Bell, contracts, correspondence, cast sheets, story outlines and ratings reports all relating to both soap operas.
