Historical Note

Charles Levendosky was a poet and a journalist. He received a degree in physics in 1958 and a degree in mathematics in 1960, both from the University of Oklahoma. He received his masters degree in education in 1963 from New York University. He moved to Casper, Wyoming in 1972 to work for the "Casper Star-Tribune" as a columnist. He became the editor of the editorial page in 1982. His weekly column was distributed by the "New York Times" wire service and appeared in more than 225 newspapers in the United States. His columns earned him a reputation as an expert on first amendment issues. He was also editor of "Cyber Tribune" web site.
