Debra Kay Larsen Brandon was born on March 12, 1952 . She attended the University of Utah, earning a BA in Fine Arts. During this time, she worked on campus in the switchboard. She also worked at In 1980, Debra's art was displayed at the newly opened Abravanel Hall. In 2000, she started RD Screendesign with her husband, Arlen. Debora Larsen Brandon died on November 13, 2018.

The Debra Larsen Brandon photograph collection consists of 1 box containing 4 photographs of Debra Larsen Brandon and co-workers when she worked as an operator at the University of Utah's central telecommunications switchboard in the 1970s that was in the basement of Milton Bennion Hall. There is also a photograph of Debra on the steps of possibly the Art Building in 1982.
