Biographical Note
John Roger Bullock (March 11, 1923-November 11, 2008) was born in Derby, England. He served in the Royal Air Force during Wold War II and in the Special Forces during the post war liberation of Italy. He immigrated to the United States after the war sponsored by the family of a GI he met in the service. Bullock contracted polio after arriving in the United States. He became a wire sculptor during his recovery.
He worked as an interior designer for Del Teet Furniture for most of his career. He married Eunice Mae in 1973.
Content Description
Photograph, drawing and ephemera collection relating to the life of John Roger Bullock who was an interior designer. Includes a scrapbook album with pattern drawings for men's clothing made in 1910-1911 (not drawn by Bullock), and photographs, drawings, and ephemera from World War II made while Bullock was in Italy. Also included are photographs and an album of a 700 square foot house designed by Victor Steinbrueck for Roger Bullock and George Hornsby in 1958. Includes a newspaper story about the house. Bullock designed the interior.

Description: Photographs and miscellaneous
Letters written by Bullock to his parents and Adelaide Berdeen "Berdie," The Seattle Times article on Bullock and Hornsby's house "Pacific Northwest Living: Bachelors Share Home Instead of Apartment," and photographs of Bullock and Hornsby's house (including photocopies of photographs of the house made by Art Hupy. The originals are in the Art Hupy Photographs). Also include loose photos from the scrapbook and album.
