Historical Note
Helen Duberstein (1926- ) was a New York playwright, poet and author. She was a playwright with the Circle Repertory Company in New York from 1968 to 1972. She also published essays, reviews, short stories and poetry. Duberstein married Victor Lipton.

Collection contains mainly manuscripts of Duberstein's various writings including theater scripts, poems and short stories. There are also related correspondence, clippings and miscellaneous materials, some concerning Victor Lipton.
