Biographical Note

Philip B. Corkins was born in approximately 1826 in New York and died on July 16, 1896 in Harwood, MO. He married Amelia M. Babcock in 1852 and graduated from Rush Medical College in 1853. He mainly lived and practiced medicine in rural Illinois.

This small collection contains lecture tickets from various medical schools and hospitals. Tickets originate from Indiana Medical College (1847-1848), Illinois General Hospital of the Lake (1852), Rush Medical College (1852-1853), and Jefferson Medical College (1862).
