The collection includes fragments of a wide range of correspondence from early letters sent to Nevada such as an 1866 letter from M.A. Beckwith to a “Mary” and a 1909 letter from R.J. Hughes to Mary B. Healy in Butte, Montana. The collection also includes two documents, a Nevada Clerk of Court’s authorization for the marriage marriage of Michael O’Reilly and Mary Gillan, and a promissory note. Two photo albums, one containing primarily cabinet cards and the other primarily cartes de visite. Most of the images in both albums are unidentified but James Healy and Mary B.
