Biographical Note
David Neil Spencer (1944-) was raised in Pullman, received his B.S. in Zoology at WSU in 1966, and returned to Pullman as a family physician in the early 1970s after military service and completing medical school at University of Washington. He retired in the mid 2000s.
Content Description
A short paper, written by David Neil Spencer, on the history of several English elms in the Pullman, Washington area, which are descended from trees planted on the WSU campus in its first decades.
