Historical Note

The Sandpoint Research and Extension was located on North Boyer Avenue in Sandpoint, Idaho. The land was donated by T.J. Humbird of the Humbird Lumber Company to the University of Idaho in 1912-1913 "for agricultural education and research purposes."[1] The research center was closed in 2010 due to budget cuts and the land was sold by the University of Idaho for $4 million in 2019.[2]
