Historical Note
The University of Wyoming Gamma Xi Chapter of Sigma Chi was chartered in 1930 and was the oldest fraternity in continuous existence on the University of Wyoming campus. It began as The Independent Club in 1924. The Sigma Chi fraternity has played major roles in student life and social activities and affairs on the University campus.

Collection contains brochures, flyers, newspaper clippings, photographs, scrapbooks, recruitment materials, and subject files relating to chapter activities, significant anniversaries, and Sigma Chi leadership workshops held on the University of Wyoming campus.
