Content Description

Tape-recorded interview by Sally Swenson, transcript, 1975.

Foster discusses the phenomenon of the art gallery, regionalism, "The Northwest School," the problems of artists, the NW annual, Public Art programs, art and Century 21, media coverage of the arts, art fairs, collecting, financing of the arts, and the future of art. Foster also active professionally in administration of the Repertory Theatre in early years.
