Biographical Note
Professor Emeritus of English, University of Washington.
Jacob Korg is a graduate of the City College of New York and received his doctoral degree from Columbia University in 1952. Before joining the University of Washington faculty in 1955, he taught at Bard College and the University of Maryland and was visiting professor at National Taiwan University. He served on the editorial boards of Modern Language Quarterly, Nineteenth-Century Literature, and Victorian Poetry. He is the author of several books and articles on modern and Victorian literature.
