Historical Note
The College of Arts and Sciences (formerly the College of Liberal Arts) encompasses Willamette University's undergraduate academic departments. The College has undergone numerous internal reorganizations since its founding, as the Oregon Institute, in 1842. As of 2020, the College offered 40 majors and 38 minors across 47 disciplines.

This collection includes materials from the academic departments of the Willamette University College of Arts and Sciences (formerly the College of Liberal Arts). These records include programs and posters from Music and Theatre Department productions, department events, materials from particular academic courses, and other departmental materials.
