Historical Note
Edith Ballinger Price (1897-1997) was a noted author and illustrator of children's books. She was a frequent contributor to St. Nicholas and a founder of the Girl Scouts' Brownie program. Florence Dunbar Robertson was a friend and correspondent of Price from 1933 until her death in 1997.
Content Description
The Florence Dunbar Robertson collection on Edith Ballinger Price contains Robertson and Price's correspondence sent between 1933 and 1997, some original artwork by Price, hardback copies of Price's books, and a copy of Price's memorial program. Most of the original artwork in this collection consists of handmade Christmas cards sent to Robertson from Price.
