Historical Note
First known as the Wildcard Committee, the Educational Innovation Subcommittee was established by Resident Instructional Staff on May 12, 1969. The committee consisted of four full-time employees and were charged with reviewing and and staffing new programs at WSU. The committee also consisteded of six students and three faculty members that representend a wide range of academic disciplines. Along with reviewing new programs, the committee was also tasked with making recommendations of programs to the Vice President-Academic, publicizing courses to be offered and preparing relevant material, and coordination student and faculty suggestions for courses and instructors. The committee was eventual enveloped by the Academic Affairs Commitee.
