Collection primarily contains materials concerning Bell County and Waco, Texas. These materials include a biography of George W. Tyler, a lawyer and civic leader in Central Texas who advocated growth in railroads, industry, and education; Masonic meeting announcements and publications; a letterbook of George W. Tyler and expense account books for the MK and T Railroad; legal documents of O. T. Tyler; O. T. Tyler-Comanche Company Lands records and correspondence; receipts; correspondence; subject files concerning the business dealings of A. J. Harris; correspondence of Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Co., Texas Mutual Fire Insurance Co., and others in the same region; correspondence concerning the Jo Zach Miller Estate; a business diary of A. J. Butler; a private account book of James Leach, a county clerk; a history of the Jowell Ranch; and other papers, documents, and publications.
