Content Description

Lorenzo S. Young (1894-1968) was a prominent Salt Lake City architect. He studied architecture at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and the University of Pennsylvania. The photographs in this collection include portraits of Lorenzo (nicknamed "Bing"), his wife, Aleine Young, and family portraits. Also included are many photographs and renderings as well as some floor plans of buildings that he designed, mostly in the Salt Lake area. Including schools, churches, commercial buildings, and residences from the 1920s-1960s.
