Historical Note
The Prahl family participated in the early development of Laramie, Wyoming. Frederick E. Prahl settled in Laramie from Denmark in 1869 and opened the F. Prahl Dry Goods and Grocery store which was located on Kearney and Second Street. Many of his descendants still live in Laramie, Wyoming.
